Queen Lane Treatment Plant
City of Philadelphia Water Department
Metcalf & Eddy, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The Queen Lane Water Treatment Plant, which opened in 1909, is located in the East Falls section of Philadelphia and treats an average of 70 million gallons of water per day.
Due to the deterioration of the plant pipeline system, the City of Philadelphia hired A.P. Construction, Inc., to replace the dosing and sampling lines throughout the plant. The project scope consisted of the replacement of 80,000 linear feet of chemical dosing and sampling lines within a steel casing pipe network throughout the Queen Lane Treatment Facility.
This multi-million dollar pipeline project was one portion of our extensive portfolio of Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) projects.
