The Fort Mifflin Seawall dates back to the 19th century. The national landmark is located along the Delaware River, approximately 1.5 miles South of the confluence of the Schuylkill River and the Delaware River.
To restore the sea wall AP crews placied a riprap along the base of the wall; completely reconstructing a portion of the stone masonry wall; repairing parts of the stone masonry wall by grouting and resetting wall stones; excavating and backfilling of sinkholes with -repair sea wall sinkholes-.
