Among A.P.’s numerous accomplishments are the construction and reconstruction of many of the largest sewers in the City of Philadelphia. One such project is the Belfield Avenue Wastewater Conduit Project.

A.P. Construction, Inc., was called to go far beneath the street of Belfield to replace a large portion of a North Philadelphia storm water system. This massive cut and cover undertaking replaced a surcharged 13′ diameter brick storm drainage relief artery with twin 13′ x 20′ wide cast-in-place concrete conduits.

The $7 million dollar contract was accomplished in one and one-half years and involved 75,000 yards of excavation 27′ deep; 100,000 square feet of shoring and over 3,000 cubic yards of structural concrete.
