PATCO ROW Embankment
Collingswood, New Jersey

The Port Authority Transit Corporation is a 14.2 mile rail line operating between Lindenwold, New Jersey and Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The high-speed line has a total of 13 stations, 9 in New Jersey, and 4 in Philadelphia. For 33 years, the PATCO Speed line has offered reliable transportation, taking 11 million customers each year to work and play. But as with anything that has operated continuously for many years, the PATCO Speed line is beginning to show its age.
Over the past four years, A.P. Construction, Inc. has been working with PATCO to enhance the embankment areas which carry the high-speed line through Camden neighborhoods to and from Philadelphia. This $11 million dollar right-of-way project is part of an extensive overhaul plan to restore and beautify the embankment along the many towns the speed line passes as it carries passengers to their destination.
