This rehabilitation steel superstructure job called for the removal and disposal of the existing grid deck of the bascule spans, including the curb and sidewalk deck. A.P. Construction crews then needed to furnish, fabricate and install new steel galvanized grid deck panels with crossbeams. AP also added a new timber curb, timber sidewalk, and timber nailers.

These necessary bridge modifications were completed to maintain the stability of the Dorset Avenue Bridge. The Dorset Avenue Bridge is located in Ventnor City, Atlantic County, New Jersey.
