A project in which SEPTA relied on the expertise of A.P. Construction, Inc. was the Chester Avenue Track Renewal Project. The work entailed the removal of existing track, grading and installation of new track bed and railroad tracks on Chester Avenue from 48th Street to 58th Street in Philadelphia.
The challenges unique to this transportation project included coordination between various owners and the continuation of vehicular, pedestrian, and trolley traffic throughout the projects duration.
