The Trenton post-war low deck seawall rehabilitation project is located on Duck Island, Mercer County, New Jersey.

 

The project included the clearing and demolition of the existing seawall, a floating turbidity barrier, a ground vibration monitoring system, test piles, underpinning of seawall, new fender system, timber pile bearing repairs (25ea), timber pile splint repair (152ea), broken timber pile splints (156ea), 1,300 linear feet of concrete deadmen, 1-1/4” tie rods from deadmen to concrete gravity wall, 132ea – 12×74 ‘H’ beam (110’ vf/ea) pile supports, 132ea – 18” seats to support low deck structure, 8’ wide x 14’ high concrete gravity wall removal (40 lf), new cast in place high deck structure (40 lf) on pile supports, concrete seawall repairs.
