River Wall
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

image

The Fairmount Park of Philadelphia is a park that covers 8,579 acres along both sides of the Schuylkill River.

Along the east side of the Schuylkill River, in the summer of 1995, A.P. forces worked diligently to restore six hundred feet of “fallen” river wall. Construction activities included a sheet pile cofferdam, dewatering, timber pile driving, reinforced concrete cap and stone wall rebuilding, returning the wall back to its original condition.
