Marine Overview

At AP we are proud of our many accomplishments in our marine division. Our skilled craftsmen give each project personal dedication while assuring highly quality results.

Some examples of AP’s achievements are: the Fairmount Dam Fish Ladder, completed by AP in 1979, which is an intricate concrete structure that allows fish to bypass the waterfall — the creation is now a Schuylkill River landmark; In 1991 AP completed a project to rebuild over 600 feet of collapsed river wall on the embankments of the Schuylkill River; And, on the banks of the Delaware River our crews successfully constructed a complex flood relief system which included over 500 feet of box culvert on timber piling, tidegate, and complete outfall structure.
