AP crews recently finished building the Stryker Brigade Readiness Center, a unique multi-use facility and field maintenance shop located in Forks Township, Northampton County. The new facility is approximately 74,500 square feet and houses Stryker Brigade’s combat team of 250+ full time personnel and approximately 75 part-time personnel.

The design-build project’s interior space included maintenance bays, offices, storage areas, an inspection room and library, an arms vault, break/assembly room, classrooms, a full kitchen, bathrooms equipped with toilets, showers, and locker areas, mechanical and electrical rooms, circulation elements and support spaces.

The civil/site work involved the formation of parking lots, sidewalks and curbing, storm water detention, in addition to new water, gas, sewer, telephone and electric lines. Site lighting was also mandated to surround the exterior of the building and follow along the sidewalk.
