A.P. Construction, Inc. truly believes that knowledge is best gained through hands-on experience. For years, we have promoted the internship program through college recruiting fairs and encouraged potential candidates to apply for summer employment. As an intern, students are paired with a mentor who will expose them to project assignments and a vibrant office environment. Interns gain the same understanding of the responsibilities and understanding of the construction industry as a new, entry level employee. Interns are exposed to all aspects of construction projects, from estimating and project management to project operations, project accounting, and field supervision. Many of our interns have become a part of the AP team as full-time employees — evidence that our program works.
