| PROJECT DESCRIPTION | |||||||
| The Moshulu is the world's largest and oldest four-masted sailing ship still afloat. The 3,116 ton vessel was launched in Scotland in 1904 and during WWI was captured by American forces who renamed it "Moshulu," inspired by the Senecan Indian name which means "fearless." Recently, A.P. Construction, Inc. installed new mooring facilities for the famed ship including the construction of two new 130' deep dolphin pile clusters, new concrete foundations and gangway construction to access the ship along the Delaware River Waterfront. The renovated vessel is now home to a lively bar and lavish dining room on the waterfront at Penn's Landing. |
