| ...more than just Two Letters of the Alphabet. To hold the tradition that was started over 5 decades ago is an enormous accomplishment within itself -- and we couldn't be more proud. It's a legacy that began with Amedeo Petrongolo, Sr. who founded the company in 1954. Needless to say, the letters "AP" were much more than a logo to him - they stood for his name and reputation. He took great pride in the work AP performed, always stressing commitment to quality and client satisfaction -- and that legacy continues today. In the Beginning Amedeo Petrongolo, Sr. performed his first construction work in 1954 installing pipe in the cobble-stoned streets of Philadelphia. It wasn't before long that A.P. Construction, Inc. was contracting utility work in the entire Tri-State Area. AP began building facilities, rehabbing tunnels, and managing million dollar projects. Partners and clients reacted to AP's superior work ethic and the corporation prospered hand-in-hand with business relationships. This AP reputation based on integrity, teamwork, and hard work continues at this very moment on every single one of our job sites around the Delaware Valley. It is clear the values Amedeo, Sr. initially inspired still hold true today, fifty four years after our inception. |
